Construction requirements and safety instructions for optical cable splice boxes

Optical cable splice boxes are scientifically called optical cable splice boxes, also known as optical cable splice boxes, metal splice boxes, optical cable junction boxes and shell-type splice boxes. Mainly suitable for overhead straight-through and branch connections of ADSS/OPGW optical cables.

Installation requirements and key points of aluminum alloy joint box:

1. In the splice tray, the single-end tray of the splicing fiber should be no less than 500mm, and the bending radius should be no less than 30mm. The fiber optic cable is bound with a loop tie, and the tightness is moderate.

2. After the optical fiber is spliced, the fiber attenuation value of the connector should be tested. If the fiber fails, it should be reconnected. The fiber should not be damaged when the outer sleeve and skeleton of the fiber are stripped.

3. The joint box should be free of moisture and waterproof. Tighten the bolts during installation, and the rubber seal must be installed in place.

4. The installation position should meet the requirements, and the fixing bolts should be tightened; the optical cable entering and leaving should be smooth and natural, and the bending radius should meet the requirements.
